Profesh.

Hello!

I can't feel my legs today, but I think it's due to the long week.  But I will prevail!

I had the best argument with a customer on Saturday.  She said she pre-paid for the giant cake she was picking up.  I asked her details, since we don't accept pre payment.  I was asking her when, where, who, what.  She was like this six foot tall blonde thing that should have lived in California.  She had her hand on her hip the whole time.  I was trying to figure out what happened and was trying to get a piece of information.

She's trying to argue with me, but was texting the whole time.  I offered that the person that ordered the cake was 'all over the place' and was very confused when ordering, then another person came in about an hour later asking if she needed to place the order because she didn't know if the other person did or not.  This lady was just as confused also.  So I told the blonde girl this, offering maybe that's the confusion.

She says (hand on hip, sunglasses STILL on, by the way) "That's not very profesh, is it?"

Um.  I tried holding my tongue, but this sad display from something I regret calling a woman in front of me was being too awful and too GaGa'ish that I could not hold my sharp tongue any longer.

I reply: "Oh, do you mean to say professional?  Profesh? (with a pause)-- is not a word."

OH YES I DID!

She just stood there, mouth open, obviously not able to say anything because I was correct.  It was amazing.

So she says "I don't think you should editorialize things that I say!"

So I laughed.  And it went on from there.
